love that the parental advisory logo isn't on international pressings of this record. i've always found it to be an unsightly thing that ruins beautiful album art, especially on CDs where it's so goddamn big

DAMNNNNN this pressing goes crazy. Only complaint is there’s some sibilance on side A, mainly with fever. Everything else plays fantastic. Huge sound and deep bass, music really hits you. Wide soundstage, quiet vinyl. I know this is cliche but with some of these songs it really is like hearing them for the first time again. Rain and Bad Girl and Secret Garden sounded particularly fantastic to my ears. Madonna originals tend to sound fantastic but this one’s really next level

The original European pressings from 1992 are by FAR, the best sounding of them all and they sound AMAZIING. Why's It So Hard is one of her most underrated and best songs. Even today it sounds awesome.

Now THIS, this pressing is the real deal. It sounds SO.DAMN.GOOD. I own a 2012 repressing that really does no justice at all to the album. This pressing is so dynamic, and the Bass on It!!! Deep without being overbearing, I'm discovering so many details I hadn't before (and I've listened to this album so many times) Definitely gonna throw my 2012 repress out the window and keep this one. One day I'd like to own the US promo (which I stupidly didn't purchase when I had the chance) but this one is more than worth it.

Exotica is a solid, resonant title track to open the album, then the decision to cover Fever, as a cold, sterile, robotic dance track, fails miserably. Meh.

how is this pressing different from https://discogs.programascracks.com/release/78689-Madonna-Erotica, this one has no comments and is cheaper, but looking at the labels, it's exactly the same pressing.

Personally I think this pressing is fantastic..dynamic and clear. People complain about a bit of crackle, clean your records people and if you want no crackle go to cds.

I'll be honest, I picked up this second version of this album because of all the reviews praising its sound quality. It is better than any repress, I will say that. it has been mastered differently, with the bass much higher and the overalll tracks being at a higher volume than the represses. The soundstage is also much wider, and overall it is a superior pressing, but I don't know if I can say it sounds as if its a new record and that you hear things you can't in the digital.

Was lucky enough to stumble across this last weekend in Atlanta. I agree with all the previous comments, it’s like a new album and the best version of this vinyl, hands down! Splurge, it’s soooo worth it!

I attended the 'world first retail release' event at Virgin Megastore in Melbourne, Australia.
I believe I got there on Saturday night 17 October 1992 before the midnight opening for the 'Erotica' launch.
While waiting in the queue, a limousine pulled up outside Virgin Megastore on Bourke Street and a woman got out in a trenchcoat.
She took it off and ran down the street naked! An obvious publicity stunt for 'Erotica'.
I bought one copy to listen to but did not think to buy a sealed copy for my collection.
