having had the CD when i was younger, I instantly recognized the chord progression from Deee-lite's "say ahh..." (1994) https://discogs.programascracks.com/Deee-Lite-Dewdrops-In-The-Garden/master/110444

Edited 13 years agoGood Afternoon. The song EVIL and HEAD TO THE SKY were the first songs i heard by this amazing group. I can still sitting in the middle of the floor between these two very large speakers that my brother-in-law owned. It was like i was in heaven. Thier vocals were unlike anything i heard before. Most of the groups i was listening to while growing up in Brooklyn,N.Y. was THE DELFONICS,THE MAIN INGREDENTS,THE MOMENTS,THE STYLISTICS,THE CONTINENTAL 4,BLOODSTONE and BLACK IVORY. I have always enjoyed the sounds of falsetto lead singers. But when i heard KEEP YOUR HEAD TO THE SKY & EVIL, i couldn't believe what my young ears were hearing.WOW!! I must have played that album thousands of times. As an adult i still play this album and close my eyes when ever i hear it. I would like to say 'Thank you EARTH,WIND&FIRE for wonderful child hood memories that i still enjoy as an adult.
