This is one of the cases where people go insane for no reason.
This record is average Italo disco, cheesy and not a floorfiller at all.
All about the price/hype. -

Sensitive's "Driving" sounds eerily similar to Shannon - Give Me Tonight which also came out in 84. So who copied whom? -
It is always enjoyable putting one's hands on a repress when the original record reaches three-digit prices and the "Limited Edition" bonus adds up to the feeling of owning a copy nearly as much rare as the original for a more affordable cost, the climax for these "reissued and remastered" copies being reached with the limited number. But a repress rarely pops up with only one series and we often have different colors for these represses, each being labelled "Limited Edition" (the average is 100 copies for colored records and 200 for the classic black ones).
Moreover, the element "proving" the record's supposed rarity is the printed number on a sticker on the backcover, something everyone should be able to counterfeit as opposed to records with a number stamped on the back. As far as I'm concerned I just happened to have 2 different numbers for the same record, which tarnishes the image of labels dealt with the repressing process. It's really a pity this major drawback doesn't seem to have been noticed thus far on the Italo-Disco stage when we know the price range for the most sought-after records, the represses' numbering leaving the impression of a haphazard work.
For this pink edition for instance as with many more the sticker with the number was separated and had thus to be stuck on the back. Nothing really indicates the record is that limited.
Hopefully this comment will be of interest for the companies implicated in this business... -

A true masterpiece, a top notch track like this one are rarely produced, this one is a must in your rare collection -
Sound quality "disaster" (compared to the original): it's just a badly "rip" of the original vynil, poorly de-clicked then re-pressed. Worst of the worst, to mask the "double clicks" on surface (the one of the original pressing, declicked, and new one of the new pressing), they started the audio in the lead-in grooves. It's clearly audible in the side B because it has 1/4 of initial groove without audio, so just silence (= background noise) from record. In a word: DON'T BUY IT and hope for a decent repressing from original TAPE (like IDL), but of this GONG rework. As an (northern) Italian where most of the best italo/afro disco and gigs had it's home in the 80s, I'm disgusted of this "zero respect" of an Italian company shows for very our music. It's the first "La Discoteca" reissue I buy, but it will be also the last.

This is definitely the holy-grail of my record collection. I can assure you, it's worth the hype.
There are so many musical elements to this song. Every time I play it, I discover something new. The real magic is from the vocals. They are the most unique and amazing vocals I have ever heard and very oddly mastered in. Almost like he is singing far away from the microphone.
The sound quality on this is satisfactory. Biased people will say its amazing but it is a very very good sounding pressing. Such a shame it has been subject to bootlegging due to some twat in Israel trying to make a quick buck. Never heard the bootleg copy and I honestly dont want to. I laughed when I read the note 'Clear vinyl with card glued on the back'. I am keeping my 'Gong' copy for many years to come.
A holygrail and a half and well deserving of that title! -
