Yes the tracks sound 'crunchy' and - yes, they sound dated...classic mid 90s acid techno produced on analogue kit. So if you dig that sound, this is right up your street. Proper acid trance techno.

The only track worth hearing on this EP is the second track on side B,
titled, "Beginning" (club mix). Don't be fooled by the "club mix" part as
there's absolutely nothing even remotely "clubby" in the way it sounds.
It's basically a really nice late night ambient techno workout with cool
samples and melodic pads, and an awesome sub-bassline that creeps
into the track at about the halfway mark and fills the whole thing
out nicely, giving it that added depth that this kind of track really
needs to be effective in the right way. The other tracks are more
along the line of something on DjaxUpBeats. crunchy and dated sounding.
In summary it's a one tracker.
