Loved how NESI finalized the edition - moving the vinyl from insert envelopes to normal anti-static envelopes. And they turned the inserts into a booklet. Also the outer envelope is now a gatefold with a nice photo inside. And the main advantage of vinyl is powerful impressive sound. At the same time it is absolutely detailed, voluminous and dynamic. Vinyl is silent as death, without clicks and sand. A stunning edition and very beautiful in real life.

First of all great quality of the cover, rice paper with antistatic sheet, and already not-static vinyls... nice swirl vinyls but sadly I own a really bad copy.

It sounds like the vinyl went to the beach and got right back on the record player, lot of pops and other noises.
Sometimes the right or left channel sounds muted / dull and when hearing hard drums the sound crackles like mad just the same as you turn up the speakers 100% and it will sound like sjit.

But just as we know the quality control in china isnt the greatest. you normally say, you pay for what you get, but this time is you dont get what you pay for.

Great sounding copy. Can deffinitely recommend this pressing. Packaging is also very nice + I dig the booklet

The ultimate pressing of Wishmaster. The dynamic remaster literally punches in your face. I'll never understand why everyone wants a earlier pressing wich will look & sound much worse while this perfect version is still available for a better price on the Nesimedia website.

Diese Platte wurde meinerseits aufgrund einer Anzeige im Sonic Seducer Magazin gekauft, die so, oder so ähnlich lautete: Weibliche Opernstimme trifft auf harten Metal. Und genauso wie diese Beschreibung neugierig machte, so t sie auch. Mein Gott, ich weiß gar nicht genau, wie oft ich diese Platte bisher schon gehört habe und sie wird mir niemals überdrüssig werden. Natürlich sind die Texte schwer mitzusingen, aber es reicht schon, wenn man zumindest versucht, die Titel der Songs mitzuschreien, wozu man eigentlich auch gezwungen wird. Auch kann man den abgehackten Gesang von Tarja Turunen im zweiten Lied „The Kinslayer“ gut mitsingen, der der politischen Koalitionsgruppe The Redeemers in den Südstaaten der USA gewidmet ist. Insgesamt wird die gesamte Platte durch das hervorragende Zusammenspiel des Keyboarders Tuomas Holopainen, des Schlagzeugers Jukka Nevalaineni und eben der Sängerin Tarja Turunen getragen. Nicht nur das Keyboardsolo in „Wanderlust“, sondern ein ganzer geknüpfter Keyboardteppich kann hier als Beispiel genannt werden. Wie der Titel es vermuten mag, geht es hier um das Thema Fernsucht und es wird über das Tanzen in den Feldern der Korallen, dem Reiten auf Delphinen oder dem Befragen von Bergen gesungen. Fantasytexte lassen also grüßen. Bei dem über einen Magier handelnden Song „Wishmaster“, der aus jedem Fantasyroman entsprungen sein könnte, zuckt man am Anfang förmlich zusammen und ist fasziniert von einem der besten Metalsongs des bisherigen Jahrhunderts. Langsame Balladen sind mit „Two for tragedy“ und „Deep silent complete“ auch vertreten, die die Sängerin mit einer sehr traurigen Stimme vorträgt. Die faszinierenden Keyboardteppiche gibt es dann noch einmal im Song „Crownless“, der über einen König bzw. Königin handelt, die über ihre besseren vergangen Tage nachdenken. Gänsehaut ist auch bei dem Stück „Dead boy´s poem“ garantiert, da hier eine Jungenstimme ein herzzerreißendes Gedicht aufsagt, während Tarja die wunderschönen Textzeilen „Sing what you can´t say / Forget what you can´t play“ singt. Beim abschließenden Song „FantasMic“, der als gute Zusammenfassung aller auf der Platte enthaltenen Stile steht, erklingt dann sogar noch ein Querflötensolo von Esa Lehtinen, welches so gut ist wie eins bei Jethro Tull. Gut, dass sich diesmal der Gitarrist Emppu Vuorinen mit dem Gesang zurückhält, was der Platte im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger „Oceanborn“ sehr gut tut.
Hier kann und muss ich die Höchstpunktzahl vergeben.

Colossal sound quality and pressing! For my taste, the reference reissue on double vinyl.
The reference Symphonic Metal voice of Tarja Turunen and excellent arrangement of the compositions.
Excellent artwork and printing of outer and inner sleeves.
My rating for the publication is 9 out of 10 stars.

I have an issue which matches everything listed above except the matrix/runout which slightly differs.
As follows:
