My copy sounds amazing. No distortion at all and terrific sound. -
Edited 2 months agoA/B’d with the 2x10” 2008 press for Kid A. There just is no comparison. The 2x10” is the clear winner. Did no one even compare the two before before putting out this POS???
Poor press from the plant. Poor, lifeless mastering. C’mon GZ! I’ve got some really nice LPs from you guys, so I know the capability is there! Way to drop the ball on something that should have been a top priority. -

Guess I got lucky, my copy is fine, no issues. Was especially worried (after reading these reviews) about HTDC, but there’s no distortion, no probs at all. I did give all records a good cleaning first.

The Kid A disc has so much loud surface noise and the high notes in How To Disappear completely are distorted. Very dissapointing release sadly. I might have to get a different copy some time -

Pretty good pressing, but How To Disappear has a lot of distortion especially towards the end. Kid A is also kinda warped

On the contrary of what most people seem to say, How to Disappear Completely sounded completely fine on my first listen. However, Treefingers had a lot of pops (which I assume are my fault, I may have brushed the record incorrectly before listening). Otherwise this is great!
