Massive Attack – Heligoland

Este álbum suena increíblemente bien, dinámico, limpio y sólido, como siempre has querido que suene un buen vinilo.
Increíble como ha subido su valor cada año, posiblemente porque auditivamente es un álbum analógico perfecto de principio a fin, además de su arte en portada con diferentes texturas que es maravilloso.
Altamente recomendado!

Worth every penny. Able to now have 3 Massive Attack albums in the collection, and this one was a must have. Incredible album, this one just puts you in a warm little bubble away from the world.

Superb album & reissue. Everything is spot on. Mastering is 10/10.

This has the honor of being the record in my collection on which I've probably spent the most - $224, after shipping via eBay. I feel somewhat foolish for spending $37 per record side; I might be a bit nuts, actually. Auction selling price aside, It's NM/NM and it's an exceptionally great sounding record. The packaging, as others have mentioned, is remarkable. This is a work of art, through and through. The depth and tightness of the bass might be something that really outshines my collection. I bought this on vinyl for Girl I Love You, Paradise Circus, Rush Minute, and Atlas Air, but I took the financial plunge on this pressing in particular for three of the four remix tracks on the third disc, which are insanely good. To me, those three tracks are “worth” at least about a third of what I paid. Especially United Snakes, which is core Del Naja/MA and should be on an album. Of course, I'm assuming the remix record will not be reissued for cost reasons. Even if it is, I'm betting it won't be repressed from Abbey Road lacquers by The Vinyl Factory. Those are my rationalizations, anyway.

Overall, a truly outstanding record. I'd feel a lot better about it if I'd spent $75-$100 less than I did, but I figured it wasn't going to get any cheaper the older it got and the more we all lost confidence in the arrival of another good-sounding reissue. If you love this record and you can find it at a better price than I did, defintely get it. I think we might be glad we did after the initial sticker shock dissipates :)

Now, the 100TH WINDOW resissue, I think I can wait for, since there wasn't anything spectacularly unique about the original pressing. Probably wouldn't kill them to finally reissue that 3xLP. Come on, Robert; don't be like Tool.

Insane how expensive these are now. I getting this during the pandemic for like $25, and even then, that was too cheap for how beautiful this was packaged. Sounds exceptional as well. Needs a repress so more people can have their hands on this

Beautiful packaging, artwork is awsome. Really love it. The sound is very warm, full, no mistake, dynamic, soft, musical. Must have!

Hands down the most beautiful artwork and packaging in my collection. Awesome pressing as well, and one of my favorite MA albums.
A must have

It's funny how I heard this album for the first time. I've been sitting in one of my favorite hipster craft beer bars where they usually play rock music, but on that day for some reason the bartender kept playing all sorts of electronic stuff which really pissed me off.
After an hour or so I went up to him and asked politely to turn on something else because "I am not electronic music fan". And that moment he was like: have you heard Heligoland ? I ended up shazaming several songs in a row...I got so impressed that decided to order the vinyl the next day.
Regarding the pressing itself, I echo the positive comments below with great pleasure! It sounds fantastic. Mesmerizing experience everytime. The amount of instruments and different sounds with its dynamics and separation will leave you speechless. And yeah, the glitter cover is so special !

Awesome packaging and mastering. Sounds absolutely amazing. All the ways the sounds seperate and dance around is hypnotic. Who cares how big the jacket is or that it didn't come with a card? And I'm glad they spaced it out over 2 whole discs. This would sound crummy all crammed onto one disc. 10/10
