Biohazard – Urban Discipline

Has anyone heard the Cargo pressing or compared this to some other issue, e.g. the South Korean one? I'm just wondering if this is the best bang for your buck.

At least the printing quality and sturdiness of the gatefold is quite superb, and it seems this wasn't just a quick cash grab. The poster was a pleasant surprise as well; can be definitely hung on the wall in that size. Despite that, I had to pay more than the average record goes for and don't wish to draw any final conclusions based on my gear. Heavier hardcore and metal music is seldom audiophile-quality sonic-wise with digital masters, compression and so forth, but sometimes I wish it were... at least for the sake of this expensive, unsustainable, and inconvenient format. xD

Does the volume on anyone elses copy seem really low ?

I pre-ordered this ages ago. It showed up a month or two ago, finally. I actually haven't even opened it yet, gonna do that in a minute, kick back with an edible and enjoy this album.

I when the music video for Punishment debuted on MTV's Headbangers Ball. I was in 6th grade and my mom would let me and my brother stay up late to watch it and we were floored when this video came on, it was the heaviest thing I'd ever heard in my life - the start of that song goes in so hard. Never saw or heard anything like it. I mowed some lawns that week, saved up and bought Urban Discipline on CD.. This album together with River Runs Red by LOA were two of the most powerful and influential albums during my middle school and high school years. I'll never get tired of either one. IMO they have aged like fine wine. The grooves, the melodies, everything is just perfect!

I already own the River Runs Red Run Out Groove on red vinyl so its great to have the orange Urban Discipline counterpart!

I pre ordered mine in the 5ish week window for $35. Vinyl prices are insane. This record was selling for almost triple before I even got my copy

It´s limited and numbered to how many copies? I can´t find any information.

Excellent package overall & really happy with it. As others say, the pressing sounds great. The drums are crisp and distinct, the bass is powerful and the guitars are heavy without sounding muddy. The gatefold jacket (with lyrics and liner notes) is well done (photography looks as good as the CD) with a fat spine that looks rad on the shelf.

As for the music, you probably either love it or hate it. I'm a lover. To me it's a primo blend of hardcore punk, Black Sabbath-style metal and hip hop.

The only thing that could be better: the wax is more of a gently marbled orange than "yellow flame," which sounds cool. Still the orange matches the album art well, and I'd rather have a great sounding record than a lame-sounding kaleidoscope.

Finally received my copy today. Sounds great. My third purchase from runout groove. Recommend purchase.
