I can't see any difference between this one and the Europen bootleg. Anyone have any info on how to tell which is which?
-
Anyone want to help me out for less than $100 on this gem? They have repressed everything else lately.

I know it's a bootleg, but it was way cheaper than an OG, and man, it sounds really really good! Fantastic. Wish "real" releases from other artists sounded this good.

Edited 8 months agoPretty slinky! Nice to look at too, with all the colors. Glad I got it. The boys are definitely smoking it up here! Figuratively and literally.

I’m so glad I own this. One of the best live recordings of all time. Sound quality is astounding and Phish are on the top of their game worth musicianship and creativity!

Splitting the jam between Wolfman and Jesus, while necessary for vinyl, absolutely kills the flow of this album. Also, wish Trey would find his wah pedal again...

referencing Slip Stitch And (CD, Album) 62121-2
I've always liked this release, it's a single disc live album, recorded on 3/1/97 in Hamburg, . My favorite tracks on this one are Wolfman's Brother and Taste. I also think the version of Mike's Song > Lawn Boy > Weekapaug Groove is really good. On the very slight down side, I feel the barbershop quartet song "Hello My Baby" suffers from a bit too much crowd noise to be very enjoyable. But other than that one very minor complaint, I feel this is a solid release and would recommend it to both newcomers and old fans of the group. -
