Lose control is just such an epic groove. I would have to say one of the best that ive ever heard. Very hard to put into words but once you grasp how reverent it is, It just gets into you in a very deep way. So fearlessly minimal, and it makes you feel worthy of existence.

Bought this in Brighton at Borderline Records on release so many years ago. I being unsure about the vibe at first but as it was a Metalheadz release and I had heard it dropped at Rumba I decided to pick it up anyway. After a few listens at home I knew that this track was special. I still reach for this when mixing with alarming regularity, the tight drum intro blending into the slurry synths before the drop into one of the most sensual basslines on a DnB record... ever!

B-side is great too but not in the same league.

          'I feel this...'

          RIP Da Intalex

One of the best twelves of all time, both sides are pure gold. RIP Marcus.

One really has to marvel at how this pair, (as well as Total Science), put out very varied, and very high quality Drum and Bass so prolifically.

Universe is a fantastic track, with washes of heavily filtered synths snaking all over it, and enough vocal to make it human, but not too much to detract from the fact that this is serious dancefloor fodder.

Lose control is a great track in it's own right, with more of the same, but a tougher bassline and darker edge.
