Wonderful recording! Any Bowie fan should be thrilled to have this in their collection. The music outweighs any technical flaws. This is a incredible piece of music history. Only the audiophile fans will find something to complain about. Love this period in Bowie's career! Love, love, love! -

An important historical document and fascinating to listen to but, although the band is fantastic, Bowie's voice is completely shot to hell. -

I don't really get how people say it sounds like a bootleg. Sounds great to me no surface noise no compression a 10/10 love the soul tour! A very important record in any Bowie collection.

Strange!(?) "Limited to 5000 copies" it says in the Notes. However, at present time, 5052 people has noted this as a "have" item under the "Statistics" table above. :-) -

Really bad audio, more like a bootleg. Still amazing to have something from this era though. -

Will there be a CD version? Or only vinyl. I love vinyl, I’m just not set up for it right now. Digital makes vinyl lazy. -

An absolute treat - a document of Bowie as he transforms into "Soul Man". Excellent setlist and fascinating to hear early versions of YA tracks. Vinyl is quiet and clean, sounds great! -

I think its great. An amazing live album, and one of Bowie's best, Up there with Santa Monica. Just dont dig a lot of the saxophone -

Probably the most interesting Bowie releases since his ing ..noone saw this coming ..Bowie may sound raw ..but isn't that great ..A real live show from this period is a gift ..the moaners on here are missing the point ...as a fan of nearly 50 years I don't want a blue vinyl rehash or repackage of something I've purchased a dozen times ...its a revealing snapshot of a tour non of us in the UK saw ..a superb performance ...transitional phase from diamond to philly dog ...if you want to hear perfect versions listen to the studio albums or cracked actor album which is more polished ..me I think its superb ..sell it if ya don't like it ... -

Bowie's voice is ragged, and the recording is just above a decent bootleg. But this is the closest thing we have to a Young Americans tour, so for me if fills a gap in my '70s Bowie collection. Worth it for hardcore fans. Perhaps not so much for the casual ones.
