Frank Sinatra – This Is Sinatra!

I just opened a sealed copy of this and while the cover is as listed here, the labels are red and white but in a star shaped designed, not a target. Anyone seen that?

I have a '59 mono repress in NM condition and this UK remaster blows it away. Don't hesitate to pick this up if you can find it. All of these Alan Dell '84/'85 remasters sound great.

Good collection of songs here. All sounding very nice. My pressing sounds wonderful and has held up all these years. Highly recommended!

Besides the fantastic singing, these are great arrangements mostly by Nelson Riddle. Top notch recording with every part audible.

Rescued from a box of 'free' items outside Rasputin. I was just going to hang the cover in my music room, but this copy actually sounds quite good.

Highlights are "My One And Only Love", "Young At Heart", "Love And Marriage". Frank is on top of his game here and the arrangements are stellar. Mix is clean and punchy.

Good hardcore Sinatra hits here but my copy from Bargain Bin a bit noisy with scratches...Lucky to have a large library of his stuff...Here was a singer who was blessed with great pipes, super delivery, and ultimate enunciation...Nobody better making a song work from beginning to end...

“This Is Sinatra!” collects some of the Voice’s most important singles from his early Capitol period. It’s a really strong lineup, highlighted by pace-setters like “I’ve Got The World On A String” and “Young At Heart.” Owning these tracks is essential for any Sinatra fan, and if you’re not going to track down all the 45’s, you may as well pick them up this way.

This is a lovely compilation with romantic songs for snuggling with someone special on a cold winter night. The pressing itself is quite good back when Capitol was still a very good company. Good fidelity and quiet noise floor with really good tonal balance throughout. Worth having in your collection.
