Does anybody know if the 2017 180 gram lp version used the Plangent processing? I know the 2018 140 gram re-issue does. Just curious. -
Anyone know when a repress of this is due? Or any extra copies floating around for a reasonable price?

Yep, this HDCD sounds absolutely amazing. Clarity and separation of instruments, a dynamic range of sound allowing for space, bright and dark sounds, and capturing the highs without compression. Volume is just right. Nice liner notes which are historical and insightful. I like the cardboard sleeve. The artwork on the sleeve is thoughtful and fun. Fantastic show! -
Most of the people selling this as of 5/24/23 are scammers. Don’t buy from them and report.

Edited 2 years agoSounds phenomenal! Press quality is also excellent. I didn't feel the need to pre-clean the vinyl like I normally do and there wasn't a single pop or tick across any of the discs on first playthrough. -
Was nervous about this at first and didn’t believe it to be true. Especially at list price from dead.net. But damn this sounds amazing! Very hot pressing. Phil is thumping and everything is incredibly balanced. The show of shows! -
Volume a bit on the low side, but sounds nice and the packaging is great. -
