Edited one year agoOne of THE BEST & MOST UNDERRATED albums ever made for the time and its imagination inducing soundscape. Genius. Pure genius.

Does this include the bonus track from the CD, “Love is Everything”? It’s one of my favourite tracks and so far I don’t think it’s been available on vinyl. -

Excellent pressing.... Better sound than the original and the Sleeve was changed to a more convenient shelving idea..... The colors are nice too.... I would have done green and pink.... Although green and yellow do match the theme.... Great pressing -

We really need a re-release of this on vinyl, an inclusion of the bonus track Love is Everything absolutely needs to happen. It is arguably the best song on the album and it's never seen a vinyl release :( -

The only way to get the criminally underrated track “Come On In, The Dreams Are Fine” is on the double 12” album. This alone is worth the price of ission. But of course there are other gems here too beyond the singles, most notably “Heart Be Still,” “Rubber Lover,” and “I had a dream I was falling through a hole in the ozone layer.” This is a high concept album that hits on all the key sociopolitical issues of the early 90s while still rocking a dance floor. -

It's better to be on time, then ahead of your time.
The second Deee-Lite album was way ahead of it's time and did not get the commercial success of the first one. Sad, but it has influenced countless bands/artist after it's release. So many great artist contributed to this House music classic, Bootsy Collins, Satoshi Tomiie, and A Tribe Called Quest.
On top of all that, the CD version was the first CD to be sold in the eco-pack that CD's are still sold in today. Wish this ablum got the credit it deserved. -

I enjoy the work of Deee-Lite very much.
Not too many people think of them past their most popular and best hit, "Groove Is In The Heart," and/or past their appearance as the musical guest on NBC's Saturday Night Live at the height of their popularity.
For those who desire just "Groove Is In The Heart," I feel the best version can be found with many other great versions on their 'Dancefloor Oddities' album. It also resides on their 'World Clique' album, but really, to think of Deee-Lite as just a "Groove Is In The Heart" group and nothing else is merely a superficial look.
I've enjoyed Towa Tei's work on his 'Future Listening!' album. I enjoy most of the tracks that Towa, Dimitry, and Kier have put out for the public.
With this group, they usually went on a mix cassette tape, and I'd usually rewind the tape at least once to replay the sounds from Deee-Lite. :D
Possibly my most favorite tracks on this album were track 7, Electric Shock, and track 12, Rubber Lover. Track 12 seems a bit hokey, but the group tried to send out a message at the time that was very necessary, as it is today.
If you cut past their 'messages to the public' in their tracks on this album (heck, the CD was produced with the 'Eco-Pak Jewel Case'), you'll see that Deee-Lite is about as harmlessly suggestive in comparison to some of the more blatant and judgemental groups out there. Don't be fooled by this subtle, above average, yet wonderful album. Deee-Lite was primarily about the music on 'Infinity Within.'
Campy, funny, odd, sincere, they can be misconstrued as 'Techno Hippies,' but really, when Kier sings, who really cares when she sings with such a sweet voice. Track 3, "Heart Be Still," is a solid effort, and I like track 2, "Runaway."
The time-piece tracks happen to be track 5, "Vote, Baby, Vote," and not-so-time-piece, track 8, "I Had A Dream I Was Falling Through A Hole In The Ozone Layer." Track 8 deals with environmental consciousness, which with youth voting turnouts and safe intercourse, those were the fad focuses of the early 90s activism. However, when we see fighting for natural resources here in Michigan over the Great Lakes water useage, one sees that the messages are still timeless.
The fuzzy, feel-good track for me is the final CD track, track 14, "Love Is Everything." It's a slow song, and really, I like it a lot.
Okay everybody, those are my two cents. The album is not perfect, but it looks pretty funky, and it fits with Deee-Lite's image and messages.
