Heavenly

Profile:

Founded in 1989 by former Robin Turner (2). Heavenly acts as a management and promotions company as well as a record label.

Whilst Saint Etienne's 1990s UK issues were generally distributed via Creation, Heavenly's other releases have been distributed by a variety of companies:

1992 to 1994 - Columbia Records led to a short-lived distribution deal for the labels other acts.
1994 to 1995 - Heavenly was without a distribution deal. It released few records, focussing instead on press/promotions and its Heavenly Social club nights.
1995 to 1999 - In April 1995, Deconstruction became their new distributors.
2000 to 2009 - Heavenly became part of the EMI Music Group.
From 2010, Heavenly releases have been licensed to and distributed by [pias].

I wonder how many of this vinyl were pressed?
It states limited edition under the other listing……but what quantity is a limited edition?
    Curious

Apparantly Heavenly Gaza which any rational peson would do. For the hard of thinking Gaza does not equal Hamas and Israel does not equal Likud. The hard of thinking is the simpleton below.

This used to be a label whose releases you could purchase blindly, but in recent years the quality of their music has been rather hit-and-miss. So I‘ve devised the following useful rule-of-thumb: If a Heavenly artist is wearing a mask, you can be sure that their music is going to be the worst pile of shit you‘ve ever heard. If an artist is maskless, just buy their releases, they will definitely be great. Either way, avoid their political statements, especially when jt comes to the Middle East. Thank me later!
