Initially, it was just an ordinary DJ setup that kept expanding; eventually growing into a small music production studio.
Some notables in here are my Tascam 52 reel to reel. The amp on the bottom is the Technics SA 800.
In the center, the Akai MPC-60 which was brand new at the time and just came out in 1988 [in 1993, he bought the MPC-3000].
There's a few more bits just outside of frame on the right like the other Monitor for instance (also on top of milkcrates). Yes, that's a weird way to listen to your mixes, having them on opposite sides of you but what did I know about music production? I was discovering how to do this stuff as I went along.
