CCMIX

CCMIX ("Center for the Composition of Music Iannis Xenakis" in English and "Centre de Création Musicale Iannis Xenakis" in French) is a center for the promotion of musical research in science and the arts. It was founded in 1985 by Iannis Xenakis as Les Ateliers UPIC, originally to promote the research of CEMAMu (Centre d'Etudes de Mathématique et Automatique Musicales), in particular the UPIC (Unité Polyagogique Informatique CEMAMu) system.

Gérard Pape has been the director since 1991.
