The Pickwick Sales Corp., launched approximately in 1953, was the successor of Voco, Inc. company.
The first label was similar to the predecessor Cricket (2) label, installed at the same time.
In 1957 the company aimed a new market and launched the Design Records (2) label, that released mono only till 1965.
The sister label for stereo versions Stereo Spectrum Records was launched in 1958.
In 1961 the successor company, Pickwick International, Inc. was founded.
