George Manios Studio

George Manios Studio was the creation of George Manios who was born in Thessaloniki on May 24th 1960 and raised there. His love for electronics and music led him to become a sound engineer/studio owner. He got involved in music production for records (vinyl ones), commercial CDs, music for theatre, film, ments and commercial radio productions. As a recordist/producer had a successful career in music production helping mostly hopeless musicians to make it in the music business. Until the last days the studio remained mainly in the analog domain although it was always in the front line of digital audio since day one (ie. C-lab Notator, Digi-Design/Sound Designer etc) not to forget to mention the trial of most of AD-DA convertors. The George Manios Studio was well known for its vintage tube microphone collection, in pristine condition, and for the plethora of outboard equipment.The studio ceased production during the Great Greek Depression in 2009. From 2009 onwards George Manios dedicated himself to one of his old hobbies, that is the construction of high-end valve amplifiers.
