Government Of Canada

The Government of Canada is the governmental body established in July 1867 to represent the federal istration of Canada; formally known as "His Majesty's Government" and colloquially referred to as Gouvernement Du Canada for the francophonic entry.

Many Canadian state-funded and sponsored music albums, including commercial releases, carry the official Government of Canada logo — initially designed by Jim Donoahue in 1965 to promote tourism in Canada but subsequently adopted on the national level in 1980.
