BOY Records is an extremely underrated label. You can find many German classics in this label. Time Modem probably being the best project to come from this label. Like most labels, it does have some mediocre / crap releases but, they are minor compared to the great stuff you can find. This label should be compared with similar labels like Eye Q and Suck Me Plasma. I'm currently trying to get most of the BOY releases in CD. Well worth the musical investment.

Excellent example of the genre and very typical of the early Frankfurt sound, has inspired many imitations, some good some not so good. Since it's inception in the late 1980's until the present day has maintained its own inherent sense of timelessness, now inspiring a new generation of Techno Junkies.
Kudos due to Michael Zosel, the gentleman from Bad Kreuznach who is ultimately responsible for the above comments.
