This is a label which, alongside a few others, aims at re-issuing records from the golden era of UK hardcore & breakbeat, most of them being very underground and very rare.
Represses are all high quality, impeccable mastering laid on hi-quality 180gr vinyl. Primary area of focus is the 92-95 period. I personally also enjoy music from earlier time (90-91), but artists from that period are probably harder to track since that was before a lot of people began making music in the UK (or at least, up until Spring/Summer 91).
And sure, I like quite a lot of contemporary releases and music; I do think that today, as it was the case in the 90s, you have to look for good music, because it is there, but it won’t come to you unless you actually look for it.
And yet, now, an astounding 30+ years later, it’s incredible to be able to get back to sounds experienced first-hand in fields, blasted from 100K turbo systems so loud it really seemed the earth was moving, blinded by terrastrobes and lasers, surrounded by thousands of people living the same experience. Beyond words really… Something special happened all those years ago in the UK, never to be replicated anywhere/anytime. Those times were not a dream, they really happened and VF commitment on reissuing some of those records is a statement about how important this period was for all of us ravers
Plus going through old records ensures they’re IA-free!
I’ve missed a few of the early VF represses, gutted for that, yet from time to time there are re-represses of those early releases, so watch this space.
I have nothing but respect for this label. And, incredibly enough, Brent runs it alone, for which I shall definitively salute him!

I just want to say here........i buy a lot of vinyl from loads of labels who do what they do how they do it! NOBODY DOES IT AS GOOD AS BRENT AT VINYL FANATIKS. No corners cut, heavyweight vinyl, remastered the best it can be, quality disco bags, quick delivery and any problems , he is the most approachable guy i know to resolve. LABELS TAKE NOTE. No Corners cut EVER with this label. Proper decent label.

Great tunes but they started phoning in the art, I appreciated it when he tried to at least make things look like the original.

Is Stu J's Gadjet Part Deux coming too? I can't find an original one to buy in this country!

Is Stu J's "Take me to your leader" going to come out soon, or was it only a test press?

By far the best record label in repressing true old school treasures.
God bless Brent for making all old school hardcore fans happy in every record release.
              Thank you VF!!!

If you don't know, better ask someone. Brent is an ace selector. A fine gent, as well.

Its great to see the two words Jungle Techno!!! I have been banging on about this since day one and should be fully recognized as a sub-genre.
                  As for the subgenre Hardcore.
It creates confusion among us discoggers!
Hardcore is either the rave sound of the early 90s OR is in the direction of Thrash Metal etc.
So a change needs to take place on Discogs!
(for example) It should be called Hardcore Rave so as not to be confused!
I hope a change soon comes?

                  Keep it JUNGLE TECHNO !!!

                  PEACE ;)
