Able

Québec-based Canadian record label founded February 17, 1971 by Christian Lefort. active until approximately 1985. The label dealt mainly in French-language releases, many of them licensed from European labels for the Canadian market, but also licensed a number of English-language disco recordings.

The company name on English-language releases usually appears as Able Records Co. Ltd. are also used.
On French-language releases, the company name usually appears as Disques Able Ltée.
