Profile:	Label Code: LC 00959 / LC 0959. London-based label created by Edward Kassner in 1957. Label name appears as just "President" on almost all releases. Label of the company President Records Ltd. President started as a mainstream pop label in the early sixties, making hits with artists such as The Equals. In the seventies, with the emergence of disco, it was the company that brought the Miami sound to Britain, scoring a string of hits with KC & The Sunshine Band. Over the years the output diversified to include notable releases in practically every style from Rock to Reggae, taking in World Music, New Age, Nostalgia and MOR along the way.
