The Blue Series (2)

Blue Note compilation series, starting in October 1991.
The first five releases were "Ballads In Blue", "Blue Bossa", "Jazz Hot And Blue", "Love Me Blue", So Blue So Funky".

The series is recognisable by the distinct artwork of the releases, consisting of black, light blue, dark blue ovals and rectangles on the front, reverse and disc face ("repeating" the Blue Note musical note logo), light blue titles and red artist names.

U.S. releases have a dedicated "Blue Series" logo and belong here, too.

Later, sub-series were introduced, e.g. Blue Brazil, Blue Break Beats, etc.
