Portuguese record company focussing on Portuguese and Brazilian music. It's catalogue consists of recordings by national talents, original soundtracks of soap-operas from SIC and Globo and compilations. The company also represents a number of Brazilian and Portuguese labels like Edições Valentim de Carvalho.
Another area where the company is active is artist management and music publishing. It manages the biggest catalogue of music of independent Brazilian and Portuguese composers and artists.
iPlay Som e Imagem Lda. is owned by SIC, which acquired it from Globo in 2007.
On the 10th March 2009, iPlay was sold to "Lemon/Fantasy Day" and the former owners celebrated a partnership in which they license the new owners, all the phonographic and videographic products over those SIC has rights or by these licensed. The deal is valid for the next 4 years (2009-2013).
