Bureau B (sometimes quoted as Bureau-B) is an independent record label, music publisher and booking agency from Hamburg, , founded in 2005 by Gunther Buskies (B for Buskies) as a sister label to Tapete Records. The label releases varieties of electronic, free-spirited music, with the spectrum ranging from pop to avant-garde. The label has amassed an extensive catalogue of reissues and new productions, including classics from the genre of electronic music in the 1970s and early 1980s popularly classified as Krautrock (Cluster, Faust, Moebius, Roedelius, Plank, Schickert, Schnitzler, Tietchens, Tyndall), alongside reissues of similar artists (Blenner, Heldon, Pinhas, Rev) or NDW (Plan, Pyrolator) ... and new recordings by such formative artists as Die Wilde Jagd, Kreidler, Toulouse Low Trax, ... Most notably, Bureau B has been rereleasing albums from the Sky Records catalogue. |

Great label - interesting releases old and new and still burn the torch for CD collectors 🙏 Always interested to hear/try what they put out.

Pretty dicey label in my opinion. Initially I thought they were a bootleg label but decided to give them a shot since they reissued some expensive krautrock stuff. Their records are always noisy and when you try to talk to them about it, their response is essentially “tough luck”. I wouldn’t waste your money on them and would pony up for earlier pressings.
