Summary on the TV show, from TV.com:
"Gordon Shumway, last known survivor from the planet Melmac, crash-lands his spaceship into Willie Tanner's family suburban garage. Willie dubs him 'ALF', short for Alien Life Form. After convincing a military officer that they are not harboring a space creature, the Tanners decide to take ALF in as a member of the family."

Samples of various episodes, along with a specially created music track were used by Ben Liebrand to make a mix for the Dutch radio station "Veronica" (he remixed a different song every week). The mix was eventually released and reached the Dutch charts. Liebrand created a second mix with different samples for the radio (called 'the Hiccups mix').
