Ruth Foster

American actress, film editor, video tape editor and an associate producer who portrayed Walnut Grove's post-mistress Melinda Foster for several seasons on the NBC TV series Little House on the Prairie (1974–1983). Born January 29, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Died May 12, 2012 in Del Mar, California.
Foster married comedian Bobby Pinkus, aka Peter J. Accardy, in 1939.
