Hilmer Hassig

Danish guitarist and producer [1960-2008] highly influential in Danish music from the beginning of the 80's until his death. Co-founded the synth/punk band Nanna, his spouse at the time of his death.
Hassig was killed in a traffic incident on 16 November 2008 in Copenhagen as he was hit by a ing cab on the street outside a bar. A memorial concert was held on February 13, 2009, where a number of his former bands re-united to celebrate the influential musician.
He also ran the Irmgardz 2.0 label.
