German recording and sound engineer, working at Teldec-Studio, Berlin from 1968 to 2002.
Also musician and lecturer at UDK Berlin.
Grammy Award winner 2002 for "Best Instrumental Soloist Recording", and 2003 for "Best Opera Recording".
Medal of honour 2010 of the VDT, the German Association for Audio Professionals.
