Hot Streak was a disco band from New Jersey, USA.

The group formed a a quartet and originally performed gospel music. They moved to contemporary R&B in 1982. Their original name was “A Different Flavour” and then it was changed to “Special Forces” (where they released a single called “Stroke It”).

They worked with Curtis Hudson and his wife, Lisa Stevens and they where renamed Hot Streak. In 1983 they were signed to Easy Records and they released their only single “Body Work” which peaked at #6 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music\Club Play Singles chart and #19 on the U.K. Singles chart. The song was featured on the soundtrack to the film “Breakin'”.
