Philipp Fankha

Swiss blues singer and guitarist, born February 20th, 1964 in Thun, Switzerland.
Was the frontman of the Checkerboard Blues Band.
While working in the USA between 1994-2000 he was regularly touring with his mentor Johnny Copeland up to his untimely death in July 1997.
After returning back to Switzerland to pursue his solo career, Fankha released several albums which received gold and platinum status in his homeland.
