    I love this album. So addictive. I find it very hard to believe that there isn't a Japanese CD reissue. Japanese companies live to reissue albums like this. Songwriting-wise, Its more intricate than a lot of sunshine pop. Great lyrics. Great vocal arrangements by one of the future kings of musical theater. Steven Schwartz probably forgot all about this record once he was rolling around in his Godspell money. Its well worth owning though. And the production/sound is excellent. Great RCA house sound. Jim Crotty is an unsung 70s hero as an engineer. He did so much good work for that label especially in the soul and funk world. The Main Ingredient, New Birth/Nite-Liters, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, and on and on. He also engineered that Boobie Knight record that I can never find anywhere. He engineered those great mid-70s Weldon Irvine albums as well. Paul Goodman is the other engineer and he had an even more illustrious career. Especially in the jazz world. Anyway, this albums sounds nothing like any of those. But its still really good. Its definitely up there with two of my other fave late 60s RCA productions: Fables by Four Jacks And A Jill and The Adventures Of Keith by Keith. All the best, Scott Seward
